Read 'n' Seed 1: Trash Talk

The book I chose to read is called, "Trash Talk."  It is written by Lillian & Dave Brummet.  It is an inspirational guide to better management of our waste and time here on this planet.  Almost all of us would like to make some sort of change in the world that will help preserve the earth we live on.  This book is geared towards helping us take that one small step and goes into how we must change our mindset in order to do so.  I chose this book because it will provide the guidance and motivation we just may need to jump in and take action!  It does require and skills or extra talents...It is here to provide inspirational ideas to take part in making changes in this world.

  1. Jamie,

I think your book sounds pretty interesting. Garbage and trash can create many problems for the earth so it will be fun to learn some ways that we as individuals can help take care of this problem. I look forward to hearing about what you think of Trash Talk.

  2. Hey Jamie, this book sounds pretty cool. I think many of us, like you, need that little extra push to inspire us to dive and clean up our act. Hopefully, by reading your posts we will all be inspired to make a change in our lifestyle!

  3. I wish I would have snatched this read before you! ha, I am big on recycling and trying to better our planet. The restaurant I work at just recently made an effort towards organic recycling, where we separate food from paper/plastic items. Though it takes a little extra effort on the staff's part, I think it's great that they're pushing establishments to do this. I think it's ridiculous how many people are too lazy to recycle. ESPECIALLY college kids. Like its SOO hard to separate trash and recycling into 2 different bins!!! ha. I hope the book is a good read!

  4. Jamie, This book sounds very interesting already. I am curious about the different ways to manage our wastes because as regular people we forget or don't know what can be considered as wastes or recyclables. I look forward to being motivated by this book and your opinions on it. Mary
